Found 2025 in Stockholm, Sweden. LATE NINE, is a clothing label at the intersection of golf and nostalgic popular culture. Capturing the essence of our favourite decades, and revising those aesthetics to fit and suit our current modern lives. Our collection is crafted to seamlessly integrate between golf and daily life, with each piece representing a distinct moment in time.
Influenced by film and pop cultural moments. Where shape, colour, and texture are foundational. Materials remain at the heart of our design process. However it’s not just about evoking nostalgia. Every garment is designed to meet the functional demands of the modern world.
Golf can often be misunderstood, but at its heart, is an incredible game that we want people to embrace. Whether you take it seriously or keep it casual, there’s no judgment. The one thing we all share is a lack of time. The beauty is that you don’t need to spend six hours on a Saturday to enjoy it. It’s in the little moments, a quick nine holes at sunset is where the magic happens. Golf also offers a unique freedom in how you dress and express yourself. With its rich visual history, we love bringing those iconic elements to the world beyond the sport.
It’s not that we’re against performance, per se. We just don’t believe in ultra-tight fits or an over-reliance on synthetic fibers. If you’ve watched a recent tour event or stepped into a pro shop, you’ll know exactly what we mean. It wasn’t always this way. We encourage embracing a more relaxed fit, because it’s comfortable, looks and feels great. After all, the record for the most shots won at a major (2000 US Open) was set while wearing, by today’s standards, very wide wool trousers. Remember who wore them?
We prefer to challenge traditional ideas of wearability, embracing relaxed silhouettes because they’re comfortable, flattering, and feel effortlessly right. Every piece is crafted in collaboration with small-scale European production partners, carefully chosen for their expertise and attention to detail. We focus on limited production runs and work with high quality and also sometimes deadstock materials.
Our knitwear is made in Italy, jersey polos in Portugal, outerwear and trousers in Lithuania. As well as our leather goods being produced in Denmark. Most of our materials and components are either sourced from Italy, Portugal or Japan. Each and every component is hand picked and/or uniquely produced by us. Our production process is slow, meticulous and we rigorously wear test each and every garment before allowing for it to enter production.
